We have acquired a brand new transport van to provide safe, comfortable service for our clients.

Tarpon Caye Lodge Flats Fishing Boat Fleet and Transport Boat Upgrades

We recently decided purchased
two brand new Honda 4-Stroke outboard engines
for our flats fishing boat fleet, that will ensure no engine mishaps, fuel efficiency, and most of all quiet running while sneaking up on those tailing permits on the flats.

We are also completely redesigning our flats fishing boat fleet to make them, lighter, more spacious and comfortable.

Our 28 Foot open hull skiff has been completely redesigned and upgraded. We have install a huge dry hole in the bow of the boat for the safety of clients luggage, we have added a 130 Honda 4-stroke engine and also added more cushioned, sitting area for clients comfortable ride to Tarpon Caye Lodge.

We are planning on establishing a Gift Shop in our mainland Office

We have found that clients are interested in various local, handmade gifts and realized that is was almost impossible for clients to take a peak and maybe even purchase gifts in the Placencia locale, therefore we decided that we will be starting out selling Wooden Hand Carved gift items, which we found interest most of our fishing clients.

We are constructing a thatched palapa open air cash bar

After our recent land development on Tarpon Caye (in 2024), we decided that we needed to do something with the extra space we had, thus we decided to construct a thatched bar to provide a social area for guests after a long days fishing.

This bar will be stocked with local drinks as well as imported drinks.

The bar will be stocked with various brands of red and white wine.

We will also have local and Internationally (Cuban) made cigars and cigarettes available for purchase at the bar.

Installation of solar lights for ambient light at night for walkways and general ambient lighting around island.

We are planning to establishing a nature walk trail through the entire length of the island to the Southernmost point.

Tarpon Caye is a mangrove island, it is longer from North to South and narrow from East to West, on the undeveloped portion of the island there are many beautiful birds and other harmless, interesting animals that we believe would make a great little nature experience for guests.

We will install tables and chairs so that clients can relax after taking their nature walk.

We will have this pathway lined with solar lights, so that clients can take night walks as well (it is absolutely beautiful when the moon is out).

remember unlike most islands in this area, we own the entire island, therefore there will not be other people on the island from other establishment, therefore you will have complete privacy and exclusivity.

We will be installing internet access on the island, which will be complimentary for our clients convenience.

Clients will now be able to make and receive calls at Tarpon Caye Lodge

Clients will have to purchase pre-paid cards to make calls, which will be available for sale on the island.
